Antherina suraka, also known as the Malagasy Moon Moth, is a species of silk moth that is native to Madagascar. It is part of the family Saturniidae, which is known for its large and colorful moths.

The wingspan of Antherina suraka can reach up to 12 centimeters, and the wings are a striking combination of brown, green, and pink with distinct eye-spots on both the fore and hindwings. The caterpillars of this species are bright green with black stripes and can reach up to 10 centimeters in length.

Antherina suraka has a short lifespan, with adults surviving for only a few days after emerging from their cocoons. They are active at night and are attracted to lights. Females lay their eggs on the leaves of various trees and shrubs, including citrus and coffee plants.
